Client: Pangea Cafe

The Problem: Since Brexit, the UK has been facing a challenging political climate. Inflation, a cost of living crisis, and recently, racist and nationalist riots from the extreme right-wing have swept across the country, spreading hate and violence against immigrants.

The Ask: Create a campaign that can live in-store and/or on social media

Insight: British people are reaping the benefits of foreign products while discriminating against those who make them

Idea: Accept people the way you accept their products

Paws for a Cause (BYOD)

To celebrate International Migrant Day (December 18), Pangea Cafe will host Paws for a Cause (BYOD), an in-cafe event encouraging people to bring their dogs to the cafe.

Pangea Cafe will also post Instagram Stories of the dogs with their name, breed, and origin to generate awareness about accepting immigrants as much as foreign products from their corresponding countries.

Pangea Cafe will put a world map in the shape of Pangea inside the cafe where people can place pins to show where they’re from, highlighting the importance of the UK’s diversity and increasing awareness about accepting its people from around the world.
